About

The people behind NorthStar HVAC

A straightforward HVAC contractor: measure the system, explain what it needs, do the work properly.

Our approach

Comfort problems are diagnosis problems

Most of what goes wrong with a heating and cooling system is measurable: airflow that is too low, a charge that is off, a duct system fighting the blower, a control that is staging badly. When those get measured, the repair is obvious and the bill is predictable.

That is the whole approach here. Readings first, options second, work third — and nothing gets replaced because it is easier than finding out what actually failed.

Add the founding story here

Replace this block in src/app/about/page.tsx with the real history: who started NorthStar HVAC and in what year, what they were doing before, and what made them go out on their own. Two or three honest paragraphs beat any amount of polished filler — this is the part visitors actually read.

What that means for you

Four habits that change the outcome

  • Diagnosis before parts

Readings first — static pressure, temperature split, electrical draw. The measurement decides the repair, so you are not paying for parts that were never the problem.

  • Options, not pressure

Where there is a repair path and a replacement path, you get both, in writing, with the trade-offs explained. The decision stays yours.

  • Sized for your home

Replacements start with a load calculation instead of copying the nameplate on the old unit — the single biggest factor in whether a new system actually feels better.

  • Clean work, documented

Commissioning readings are recorded at start-up so there is proof the system is running to specification when we leave.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

From the first call to a working system, here is exactly what happens.

  1. Tell us what is happening

Call or send the form. Describe the symptoms, the equipment and how urgent it is.

  2. Get a scheduled window

You get an appointment window rather than an open-ended wait, and a heads-up before the technician arrives.

  3. Diagnosis and options

The system is measured and tested, then you get the findings and the options — in writing, before work starts.

  4. The work, done properly

Repairs are completed and verified with readings. The work area is left clean.
